An air cooled water chiller for process cooling removes heat from process water by circulating it through an evaporator where refrigerant absorbs the heat. The refrigerant is then condensed by air passing over condenser coils (fan-cooled) and the cycle repeats. Maintenance: clean air filters and condenser fins regularly; check refrigerant charge and compressor oil per schedule; monitor water quality and use corrosion/scale control treatment; inspect electrical connections and safety controls.
